"Tough Love" hosted by Mike Zinna is a Denver television show on KBDI Channel 12 spotlighting local political leaders and their reactions to national current events in a refreshingly casual environment.
The unusual goal of "Tough Love" is to deliver to the audience, unvarnished opinions of political leaders who otherwise might be stuck on "talking points."
"Tough Love" is completely unscripted. Guests first view video clips chosen by Host Mike Zinna and garnered from Network News and Internet Sources. The guests then spontaneously react to the day's hot topics, as well as joust with Zinna as he conjures up his notoriously off-the-wall political perspectives.
"Tough Love" is designed to highlight the sometimes never-before-seen personality and passion of its guests. Mike Zinna engages everyone in often tough but usually long-overdue questions about the world of politics. "Tough Love" inspires viewers of all ages through plain talk, humor, and raw emotion, to become more interested in politics and the movers and shakers who drive Colorado's political machine.
